Ebony’s laugh echoed from the ceilings of her Fullerton loft as she gabbed with her bridesmaids, making a small breakfast in between sips of a Starbucks latte. And as she prepared for her wedding day, 80′s music played in the background – perhaps a nod to the very thing that brought her and Jeff together. An 80′s dance party.
Ebony made her way to the lush grounds of the Muckenthaler Mansion where she would join Jeff’s hand at the alter and commit to him as his wife. She smiled through tears of happiness and sealed her commitment with a kiss…and as she walked back down the aisle with Jeff by her side, I heard her laugh echo once again.
Ebony and Jeff : Thank you is just enough to convey all of the things I want to say to you two. There is something so special about your love – it is perhaps one of the most pure, unadulterated loves I have ever had the pleasure to witness. Your wedding was the first time I caught myself wiping away tears from behind my camera…and I mean real, hope-my-mascara-isn’t-running-down-my-cheek tears. I still don’t know why your day made me so emotional, but one thing is for sure: the beauty of your wedding could not outshine the beauty of your love for one another.
Let’s get to your photos!
Ebony started her wedding preparation at the gorgeous downtown loft she now shares with Jeff. Talk about perfect lighting!

I loved this photo the second I took it. One of my favorite moments to date!

Happy Monday!

So happy to be married…

This wedding was full of coordinated personal details….love this!
Such a sweet moment during the first dance.
I’ll end with this nighttime photo of the Dana Point harbor….I think the beauty of this shot perfectly compliments the gorgeous couple!
Melissa and Vince – Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day. Your love is a special one, and you two compliment each other perfectly. Your personalities bring out the best in each other and I have no doubt that you will be sharing a lifetime of nothing but love and laughter. I hope you had a great time on your honeymoon, and please enjoy your photos!
Amanda was a vision in this sweetheart gown by

Two moments that always make me teary: Father/ Daughter dances and a mother helping the bride into her dress. Just look at this moment between Amanda and her mom! Beautiful.
Amanda and Justin chose to do a FIRST LOOK before their ceremony. I was so happy to share in the reveal!

The Cabrillo National Monument was a breathtaking location for couples portraits. I could have shot here all day!
See what I mean? BREATHTAKING!

The awesome wedding party
I loved the waterfront ceremony location…and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect!

I’ll end with this series of Amanda and Justin’s first dance, because it is a perfect depiction of how they spent their wedding night. Dancing the night away, having the time of their lives.
Happy Tuesday!
Kaya is a mom after my own heart. Not wanting to settle for the typical nursery, she created the details of this owl/lime green motif herself! (And with the help of Elle’s new aunt – Amanda!)
Fuzzy baby parts! I love this.

I’ll end with my absolute favorite…this little smirk just kills me. And I couldn’t decide if I preferred the color or the black and white, so I had to include both!
